Steven C. Krieger, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group, focuses his practice on representing international companies that have been investigated by U.S. government entities and/or who have been charged with regulatory and criminal violations. In addition, he has defended appeals of administrative adverse determinations to various appellate bodies. Steven also litigates on behalf of companies accused of unfair trade practices, including theft of trade secrets and diversion of business opportunities. He has testified as an expert witness or consultant to various matters including work authorization outside the United States; U.S. Labor Condition Applications and H-1B issues; unlawful foreign employment practices; and international licensing and distribution. Steven’s clients have included multi-national corporations, small and micro businesses, and start-ups.
Alisa C. Campbell, partner in the Firm’s Business Immigration Practice Group and Co-Chair of the International and Global Immigration Practice Group, focuses her practice on a broad range of United States immigration issues for both U.S. and foreign based clients. Alisa regularly advises corporate clients on compliance with the complex and ever changing immigration system in the U.S. As an advocate for corporate clients, she works with her colleagues to find the best strategies and business oriented practical solutions to difficult immigration issues. Alisa also keeps family-based immigrant matters on track from the initial filing through EAD and green card issuance. Cheryl R. Willkommen, a partner in the Litigation Practice Group, focuses her practice on the representation of corporations and individuals in immigration and related employment proceedings, including: complicated and high profile H-1B and L-1B cases before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS); H-2B and other temporary immigrant visa issues; discrimination claims under the INA, such as national origin or citizenship based discrimination in hiring, firing, and recruitment practices; Form I-9 verification audits and civil fines; and lawsuits. She also regularly represents clients in settlements and hearings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (both in individual deportation cases and corporate compliance cases).
