A new chapter began in 2013, when attorneys Matt Dore and Meghan Kiehl began practicing together at Dore Law Firm. Their goal was simple: to offer exceptional legal counsel at affordable rates. What began as a small firm of two quickly grew to three in 2014, with the addition of attorney Jeffery Dorais. Combined they have more than 40 years of experience and their diverse backgrounds and skillsets allow them to handle a variety of legal issues, from bankruptcy to family law. The creation of the firm came after each of Dore Firm’s three attorneys spent many years at their previous firms , where they gained a wealth of experience and knowledge. Dore Law Firm’s Success Stories

Dore Law Firm has represented clients in a variety of notable cases, encompassing many issues across a wide range of complexities in both state and federal jurisdictions. In King v. Amco Steel, the firm sought recovery for a worker left paralyzed when a beam crushed his foot, and secured a $4 million verdict for the client. The firm won a $18.899 million jury verdict in Howard Island v. Conflict Management Services for a family and restaurant owner whose son was killed in a tragic car accident. A huge verdict against A&K Railroad resulted in a $20.7 million jury award to a railroad employee severely injured in an on-the-job train collision. The firm won a $2 million verdict for a couple injured on their property by a utility company employee when Texas Gas Services attempted to install a new gas line near the couple’s home. In addition to a $1.25 million jury verdict in 2008 for a serious injury to a railroad employee, the firm received a Workers’ Injury Law Advocacy Group (WILG) award in 2009 "for excellence in trial advocacy."

Qin Elaine Dore, a Senior Partner in the Dore Law Firm, was admitted to practice law in New York in 1993. Ms. Dore was born in China and went to college and law school in the United States. Ms. Dore is a graduate of Wesleyan University (M.A.), Columbia University School of Law (J.D.) and been licensed as an attorney since 1993. She is fluent in both Chinese and English and has the ability to counsel clients in both languages. Ms. Dore has been practicing in the field of immigration law for many years. As a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Ms. Dore stays abreast of all recent developments in immigration law and related matters. Prior to joining the Dore Law Firm, Ms. Dore used to manage the immigration practice group of a major Korean American law firm between 2000 and 2007. Ms. Dore has extensive experience in the area of family-based petitions, asylum, consular processing, employment-based petitions, business immigration, and removal proceedings. In addition, she has counseled clients regarding family reunification matters and social security disability claims. Before opening her own firm, Ms. Dore has worked with another U.S. law firm even before she passed the Bar and acquired the legal licenses to practice immigration law, including representing hundreds of clients and applying knowledge and experience gained from working with these clients. She is dedicated to providing competent and capable legal services to the Firm’s clients.
Ms. Dore has expertise in all areas of immigration law including family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, asylum and removal proceedings . She has successfully represented many individuals and families based upon marriage, employment, and other relationships.
Mary Ng practices exclusively in the area of immigration law. She started to represent clients in their immigration cases in 2005 while still in law school. She engaged in a pro bono project in representing persons seeking asylum from persecution in their homeland alongside her classmates and Professor Michael Wishnie, the Jerome N. Frank Professor of Clinical Law at Yale Law School. Prior to joining the Dore Law Firm, Ms. Ng also practiced immigration law at two major law firms in New York City as a senior associate for eight years. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She has represented many clients in the areas of family-based immigration, removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, naturalization, adjustment of status applications, asylum, asylum-based withholding of removal and protection under the Convention Against Torture, refugee waivers, refugee adjustment, and other complex immigration issues. Mary Ng received her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College, a prestigious women’s college in Massachusetts, and her J.D. cum laude from Pace University School of Law in New York. While in law school, she was an editor of the Pace International Law Review and participated in the New York State Mental Hygiene Legal Services where she advocated on behalf of people with disabilities including the mental retarded and the elderly. She is fluent in Cantonese Chinese.
